This Privacy Policy explains how JUNAID MOHAMMED ABDUL NAYEEM ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the mobile application Habit Tracker: HabitWin (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this Policy.
The short version. Your habits, check-ins, notes, moods and settings are stored on your device. You can use the entire App without an account, without giving us your name and without giving us an email address. Apple Health data never leaves your device. We do not sell personal information.
The following stays local to your device and is not transmitted to us unless you turn on Pro cloud sync (section 3):
If you subscribe to Pro and sign in with Apple or Google, your habit content — habits, groups, check-ins, reminders and vacations — is backed up to your account so it can sync across your devices. Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication; we receive the account identifier and email address associated with the sign-in. If you never sign in, none of your habit content is uploaded.
With your explicit permission the App may read data such as steps, workouts and sleep from Apple Health, and may write habit completions back to Health. This happens entirely on your device. We never receive, store or transmit your Health data, and it is never used for advertising. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
The free version of the App displays advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Google may collect and process device information, including advertising identifiers, in order to serve and measure ads, in accordance with its own policies. The App does not request permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Subscribing to Pro removes advertising from the App. You can review Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We rely on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf: Apple (App Store, purchase validation, push delivery), Google (Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging and AdMob) and our own hosting provider for the backend service. Each processes data only as needed to provide its part of the service.
Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Support conversations and subscription records are retained while your subscription or conversation is active and for as long as needed for legal, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. Anonymous event data is retained in aggregate form.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.
We operate from the United States and information may be processed there and in other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your own country.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security and accept no responsibility or liability for any unauthorised access, loss, corruption or disclosure of data, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Keeping your device, Apple ID and any account credentials secure is your responsibility.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted on this page and the date above is updated. Continuing to use the App means you accept the revised Policy.
